
This has been the case for many Nintendo-based fan projects in recent memory, such as a 2D remake of the hit Metroid Prime and a surprisingly violent Pokémon FPS spin-off. Of course, R-User Games acknowledges that their Spider-Man: Miles Morales mobile game is a fan project made without authorization by Marvel, Sony, or Insomniac - a fact that could lead to the game being taken down in the future due to a copyright strike. As shown in the recent trailer for this mobile version of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, all of the web-swinging locomotion and aerial tricks, spider-powered combat, and fluid animations from the beefier console iteration are carried over into Spider-Man Miles Morales Android alongside most of the unlockable alternate costumes players could don as they explored Insomniac’s version of New York City – including a brand-new one in the form of the hooded jacket Miles wears in the 2018 Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse animated film. This passion project was made with help from yPER Studios, and initially wasn’t going to be released until the developer received an overwhelming amount of support from fans. Independent mobile game maker R-User Games recently uploaded a new trailer for Spider-Man: Miles Morales Android on its YouTube channel (via Game Rant). Meanwhile, one group of Spider-Man: Miles Morales players has brought Insominac’s comic-based blockbuster to mobile phones. However, last week’s PlayStation State of Play livestream came with the shocking announcement that both Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales are being ported to PC later this year, following other former PlayStation exclusives like Death Stranding, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and God of War (2018).


Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales were initially released as PlayStation console exclusives, and statements from developer Insomniac from before the former was released indicated that this would remain the case.
